I'm Tanya Bures
PAGE BEAUTY FOUNDER + LEAD MAKEUP ARTIST WITH A GENTLE APPROACH TO BEAUTY
With 20+ years in the beauty industry, I'm most inspired by looks that endure ever-changing beauty trends. For me, timeless is a rule, not just an adjective. Clients feel comfortable and most importantly, confident knowing their best interest is at the forefront of my creative direction.
THE SHORT STORY
IT BEGAN WITH FASHION
While studying fashion at Parsons School of Design, NYC, I fell into the world of editorial beauty. Tasked to find inspiration in fashion magazines, I was more drawn to the model's hair and makeup rather than their clothing. Memories of going to national hair shows with my dad and losing myself in the makeup room were stronger than ever.
I soon had a collection of tear sheets of Francois Nars and Stephane Marais makeup began long before the advent of Pinterest.
By the summer, I was working behind the counter selling cosmetics and honing my art in makeup.
This shift into makeup utilized my innate sense of color while remaining deeply inspired by fashion editorials.

Within a few years and a move to Beverly Hills, I was promoted as the West Coast National Artist for NARS Cosmetics and eventually the Account Executive for the Southwest Region. Privately, I worked directly with clients for special events and yes, for weddings. My work felt fresh and non-traditionally bridal, and word of mouth spread quickly.
In 2013, my referral-based side business developed into Page Beauty, a curated company of hair and makeup artists who share the same philosophy in beauty: modern, elevated and seemingly effortless looks.
Aptly named after those early beauty pages in magazines, I'm proud to have a family of artists representing Page Beauty with professionalism, warmth and exceptional talent.

Experts in either hairstyling or makeup, Page Beauty artists have dedicated years perfecting methodology in their chosen field.
While some artists can do both, most artists truly love one skill more than the other, and their work is a visual testament. For this reason, artists who represent Page Beauty are selected for their specialty, and clients never have to worry about hairstyling or makeup when sitting in their chair.
Page Beauty comprises friends and colleagues, some having worked together for years before Page Beauty. This long-standing connection creates a camaraderie you'll love having on your wedding day.

The first thing we hear from our brides is how relaxed they were while getting ready for their wedding.
As seasoned artists who have worked together for years, we know each other's timing, and our process allows us to easily pivot when needed.
We maintain a rhythm and remove any worry about timing or last minute changes, and brides never miss a beat on their wedding morning.
Harper's Bazaar featured our work in "The New Rules of Wedding Beauty" highlighting glowing skin and minimalist makeup. Fittingly, that's what we're known for.
